All organisations recognise the benefits effective team working can bring to the success of an organisation. Individuals can benefit from team working and cite greater motivation and improved learning. Poor team dynamics not only reduces performance output, but can damage morale and employee retention.

We have a wealth of experience in developing teams to achieve exceptional performance and output. We are able to provide invaluable assessment of team dynamics and facilitate successful team-building approaches, significantly improving performance to meet the objectives of the organisation.

Our team assessment focuses primarily on Belbin's team role theory which enables team members identify their preferred roles in a team. There are nine team roles which, if all are present, provide a good team balance and increased likelihood of success. Belbin team role theory has been benefitting teams over many years and is recognised globally as the authority in team dynamics. Managing Director Malcolm Yates, is an Associate of the Belbin Institute and has worked closely with Dr Meredith Belbin on his pioneering work.

The main assessment tool we use is Belbin Interplace which can completed on-line. This process involves self perception reporting alongside team member observational reports. The output provides rich insight into the team dynamics and indicates opportunities to strengthen performance and personal development.
